Candidatures for election to the Foundation Board

 

>Pursuant to the procedure regarding the notification of candidatures from active beneficiaries for the Foundation Board:

  • candidatures must be sent in writing to the CPIC Secretariat before March 15, 2019;
  • the candidatures submitted will be sent to the Beneficiaries in due time.

 

>One  Member of the Foundation Board has completed its term of office and has decided to stand again (Article 21 of the Statutes):

The Foundation Board Members are elected for a 3-year term and are eligible for re-election (Article 21 of the Statutes).

 

>Another Member of the Foundation Board, so as to ensure a staggered renewal of the Foundation Board’ s membership,  has decided not to serve a full term and must be replaced on June 30, 2019.

Candidates’ written nominations and their curriculum vitae must reach the CPIC secretariat at the latest 45 days before the elections for them to be placed on the General Assembly’s agenda (Article 15 of the By-Laws).

 

N.B.     Candidates should bear in mind that the Foundation Board usually meets on Fridays and Saturdays and that communication between the Members of the Board and the Secretariat for the purpose of consultation and in the interest of expediency is by telephone and e-mail. Candidates should therefore own a computer and be connected to the Internet.
